Collaboration with UQ Life

 

In the first semester of 2019, UQYMC partnered with UQ Life to host free yoga classes every Thursday. This yoga session is part of the Weekly Wellness program and it's open to everyone - members and non-members. The sessions were beginner-friendly and took place in the Great Court (a great spot to chill on campus!). To further promote wellness, UQ Life provided free yoga mats for lending so anyone can join even if they come empty-handed!

We have our lovely yoga teacher Nirupama hosting the session and explaining the benefits of certain yoga posses.

We also held our Thursday sessions indoors when the weather was rainy. We would like to thank UQ Life for collaborating with us to let more people know about yoga and benefit from it. More importantly, we would like to thank everyone who attended the weekly sessions. We hope you enjoyed the classes and we hope to meet you on the mat again in our other yoga and meditation sessions!
