sessions rules

 

Before arriving...

1. You must first be a member of UQYMC! To begin, register yourself as UQYMC member. For more information about registration, please click here.

 

2. Don't forget to bring your yoga mat! If you don't have a yoga mat, you can simply substitute it with a towel.

P/S We received sponsorship from YogaKing and you can purchase yoga mats at a discount if you're a member. Purchase a discounted yoga mat here.

 

 

 

While arriving...

3. It's always good to arrive early. It is advised to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the class.

 

4. One of our executive team members will be there to check the membership cards. So wave your card proudly at him/her, and you'll be permitted to join our sessions.

P/S If you registered online, you can obtain your membership card through our executive member. Simply let him/her know your situation, where you'll be required to produce evidence that you have paid online. After that, a card will be assigned to you and off you go!

 

 

During our sessions...

5. Please remember that the purpose of these sessions is to promote a healthy and happy lifestyle on campus. By saying so, we mean in a safe and positive environment. Therefore, please be mindful and respectful towards your peers!

P/S If you're feeling uncomfortable, do let the yoga instructor or our executive member know.

 

After our sessions had ended...

6. Feel free to hang around with other members! Drop a "hello", strike a conversation... and voila! A new friend confirmed!

 

7. Our yoga instructors are friendly teachers too who will always prefer to be a friend more than a teacher! Feel free to ask them questions about yoga or basic health tips in general.
