pranayama workshop

 

"Pranayama Workshop", or the "Breathing Workshop", was organised on 24th March, from 10 am to 12 pm at UQ Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Centre, Room 102. We are truly fortunate to have our previous semester's yoga teacher, Nirupama Tyagi, to generously volunteer her time and vast knowledge of Pranayama for us.

​

 

Many pranayama elements and techniques are taught, including the bee humming and alternate nose breathing technique!

Our workshop ended at 12pm. We then headed outdoors for healthy snacks (fruits!) and tea. FYI, Nirupama brought her own tea for us, and everyone loves it!

We officially ended our Pranayama workshop with a mandatory group photo. Look how bright everyone is smiling!

Here, we would like to thank everyone who attended this workshop. This workshop, though not attended by many, still leaves a wonderful moment in everyone's heart.

 

Last but not least, huge thank you to Nirupama once again for generously volunteering her time and knowledge for us! May we meet again in future UQYMC events!

Plot twist: Nirupama and some of our members even talked about having Pranayama workshop 2.0! And that is definitely a very good idea!
